Ten years ago at the University of Victoria, we met at volleyball practice. We didn’t know it then, but it was the start of forever.

On February 27, 2017, Kent officially asked me to be his girlfriend and the rest was history. The next nine years have flown by, filled with countless volleyball games, adventures to PEI, Arizona and Hawaii, milestones, and making a home in three different apartments.

One of our happiest memories is the day we brought our beloved dog, Lily, home. Kent bought her a shiny new collar that read, “Marry me?” I was sitting on the couch in sweatpants, so I was definitely caught off guard! I had always wanted a surprise proposal, and Kent absolutely nailed it.

We are so excited to celebrate what will be our tenth year together. As Taylor Swift said, it will be "the end of a decade but the start of an age". We cannot wait to see you all there.

What time does the ceremony start?

The ceremony begins at 5:00 PM. Please arrive by 4:30 PM to get seated.

When will the evening wrap up?

The bar will close at 12:00 AM, and the venue closes at 1:00 AM.

How can I get to the venue?

We recommend taking an Uber or taxi from your hotel, as we won’t have a shuttle service. If you’d rather drive, overnight parking is available at the venue, so you’re welcome to leave your car and pick it up the next day.

What is the dress code?

Semi-formal.

Is food provided?

Yes! After the ceremony, we’ll have a short cocktail hour, followed by a buffet-style dinner.

Is there a cash bar?

We’ll have wine on the tables during dinner and a couple drink tickets per person. After that, additional drinks will be available for purchase at the bar.

Can I bring a plus one or my child?

We’re keeping the celebration intimate. Only guests named on the invitation are invited to attend.

Do you have a gift registry?

Your presence truly is the best gift. If you’d like to give something, a contribution toward our honeymoon would be greatly appreciated.

Where is the best place to stay?
